Loading... is a hypothetical design conference exploring the of the evolving relationship between human creativity and AI. In today’s evolving technological landscape, designers are making increasing use of AI to push the boundaries of innovation. This conference will delve into the ethics of this symbiotic partnership, questioning how, and if we should be harnessing AI’s capabilities in design.
In developing this project I wanted to capture the cross section between human and robot. The use of the human embryo - a distinct symbol of life - contrasted with the recognisable iPhone camera and "tech blue" colour creates an uncanny feeling of the birth of something unknown. This balance between human and robot is also reflected in the typography used in the printed materials. The display font used is a monospaced type that is reminiscent of the early days of technology, while the body copy showcases a more humanist serif.
